My very own dookling

On Monday afternoon Mrs Grant came to our class for Cybersmart. We got out our chrome books and we were learning how to embed on our chrome books because we were going to post our  Kawa of care learning. So Mrs Grant told us what to do and we had to listen very carefully. So she told us what to do and then we did it. Some people needed help so we helped them and when we finished we sat on the mat and we looked at one other school’s blog  post. We saw that they made alien monsters with shapes and scribble lines and we decided to do it too. So we left a comment and opened google drawing and then we started drawing whatever we wanted. I did not know what to draw so I was thinking  and thinking and I realized maybe I could draw a duck and should call it dookling. So I did a random outline and then I was thinking maybe a ghost but was like never mind so I kept it as a dookling.  I just added random details and decided to make another one so I made a random one and added colors. Then Mrs Grant had to leave so we kept on going and I completed this.

Working with shapes

  • This morning Mrs Grant came to our class for Cybersmart and we were working with shapes and she taught us about what we could do. Then she told us to try making an object or animal or anything with shapes. Then she had to go for a meeting so we said bye and made our animals and or objects. I made a dalmatian dog but it looks like a cow I really enjoyed making this I can’t wait for next week.

Learning shortcuts

In the morning today  Mrs Grant came to our class for Cybersmart. We were going to learn shortcuts on our Chromebooks .  Mrs Grant first showed us what we could do if we wanted to learn how to use the touch pad which is for the year fours  mainly and for the year fives we looked at shortcuts. Then Mrs Grant showed us how to get there and when Mrs Grant was finished explaining  Mrs Agnew told Annamaria and I to hand out the Chromebooks because that is our job this week. After that we  went to our tables and opened up our Chromebooks and went to the site. When we went to the site we quickly did our work and Mrs Grant had to go because the bell rang for morning tea. My favorite shortcut is how to lock your screen I enjoyed every part about it I can’t wait for next week.
